Meghalaya PSC Recruitment 2025
The Meghalaya Public Service Commission (PSC) has issued an official recruitment notification inviting applications for 25 posts, including Assistant Soil & Water Conservation Officer (ASWCO), Mechanic Motor Vehicle Instructor, and Electrician Instructor. Age Limit (as on 01-01-2025):
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 32 years
- Age relaxation available as per Government of Meghalaya rules.
Application Fees:
- AS&WCO: ₹460/-
- Mechanic Motor Vehicle Instructor & Electrician Instructor: ₹350/-
- For SC/ST (permanent residents of Meghalaya): Half the standard rate.
Educational Qualifications:
- Assistant Soil & Water Conservation Officer (AS&WCO):
- Non-Engineering Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or Forestry from a recognized university.
- Engineering Background: B.E/B.Tech in Civil, Agriculture, or Water Resource Engineering.
- Mechanic Motor Vehicle (M.V) Instructor:
- 3-year Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering from a recognized Polytechnic/Institution.
- Electrician Instructor:
- 3-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized Polytechnic/Institution.

Candidates will be selected through a recruitment process detailed in the official notification, which may include written tests or interviews as per Meghalaya PSC guidelines.
