Assam Polytechnic Admission 2025: Diploma Engineering Courses

Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Assam has officially released the Assam Polytechnic Admission 2025 notification. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online for 3-Year Diploma in Engineering and Technology courses offered by various State Government Polytechnics in Assam for the academic session 2025-26.

According to the latest DTE update, there are 4425 total seats across 22 Diploma programmes in 26 Government Polytechnics of Assam.

Assam Polytechnic Admission 2025 – Eligibility Criteria

1. Nationality & Residency

Must be an Indian Citizen and a Permanent Resident of Assam.
PRC (Permanent Resident Certificate) must be submitted during counselling.
Provisional admission is allowed with PRC Application Receipt and undertaking (Final PRC must be submitted within 60 days).

2. Educational Qualification

Must pass HSLC or equivalent exam in a single sitting with Mathematics and Science as compulsory subjects.
Individual pass marks in Theory and Practical exams required.

3. Minimum Percentage Required

4. Age Limit

Minimum age: 16 years as on 31st December 2025
No upper age limit
