Mahapurusha Srimanta Sankaradeva Viswavidyalaya (MSSV), Nagaon has announced a recruitment drive for 5 vacant positions in teaching and non-teaching categories. 1. Assistant Professor (Regular)

- Zoology – 1
- Botany – 1
Essential Qualification:
- Master’s Degree (M.Sc.) in Botany or Zoology with at least 55% marks.
- Ph.D. in the relevant subject from a recognized university or institution of national importance.
Desirable:
- Teaching experience at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Research experience in related fields.
- Publications in UGC/peer-reviewed journals.
Age Limit:
- As per Government of Assam norms.
2. Assistant Professor (Ad-hoc)
- Number of Posts: 2
- Subjects:
- Zoology – 1
- Botany – 1
Essential Qualification:
- M.Sc. in Zoology or Botany with minimum 55% marks.
- Ph.D. in a related discipline from a recognized institute.
Desirable:
- Experience in UG and PG teaching.
- Research work and academic publications.
Age Limit:
- As per Assam Govt rules.
3. Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS)
- Number of Posts: 1
Essential Qualification:
- HS (10+2) passed with Science stream from a recognized board.
Desirable:
- Basic knowledge and experience working in a laboratory environment, preferably in academic institutions.
Age Limit:
- Governed by Assam state government regulations.
