Eligibility Criteria for Gauhati University PG Admission 2025

Educational Qualification:

Graduate degree with a minimum of 24 credits in the respective subject with Major/Honours or a Regular Course.

Special conditions:

Candidates who have appeared in or are appearing in their 6th Semester B.A./B.Sc./B.Com/B.Voc Exams 2025 and await results can apply provisionally. They must submit their final gradesheet within 7 days of the results being declared to retain their seat.
Even those with backlog papers from earlier semesters can appear provisionally, provided they also submit their final gradesheet within the stipulated time.

PGET Requirement:

Appearing in the PGET-2025 is mandatory for admission to any PG course at Gauhati University or its affiliated colleges.
